Reiki

Reiki is a form of spiritual healing.

It sounds wierd, I know. And no skeptic would believe in it. But I know it works.

I do not know what it is and how it works, except for a very vague idea. But it gives a sense of mental peace.

Given the chance, I want to learn more about it.

  • This is actually something I started looking into breifly last year, before I started looking. Sort of forgot I was interested and never got much information beyond the opening paragraph of a book; that's now sitting collecting dust somewhere in my mother's house.

  • The person giving me Reiki said that I needed a lot of it because I am hurt.

    Indeed soul, mind, body - I am broken up. But have been caught up in the rat race they call life. I have been running so fast, and no longer remember where I was headed off to and why.

    Time for a lot of soul searching. Wish I could go back to my hostel's terrace.

  • "ty coon: If it works, it works"

    When I used to buy radio controlled cars in my childhood, I would always open them up to see how they work. I was never satisfied with the fact that it worked. I wanted to know why and how it works as well.

    Anyways, not being sarcastic or anything.

    I want to now know why Reiki works and what is it. The answer that 'it is universal energy' is not satisfying. There must be more to it.

    Anyways, we are all here searching for answer - each their own.
